Catrinel Dumitrescu

Catrinel Dumitrescu is a Romanian theater and film actress.She was born on October 11, 1956 in Braila , Romania. She graduated from Institute of Theatrical Arts and Cinematography in 1979.In 1977, she plays first role in the movie Riul care urca muntele.Other notable roles in films :Buletin de Bucuresti (1983) , Casatorie cu repetitie (1985) ,Padurea nebuna (1982) .She play on the stage of the theaters ''Nottara'' and ''Bulandra'' from Bucharest.She is professor at Hyperion University in Bucharest, Faculty of Arts.She was decorated on December 13, 2002 with the National Order for Merit as a Knight.She was married with actor Emil Hossu .
