An accomplished theatre actress whose only film contribution was sadly lost, Hope Drown in Illinois, USA. According to the Playbill register, her first noticeable play was "Peter Weston" in 1923, around the same time she was cast in the lead role in Hollywood (1923), her film debut and only film performance. In what is considered one of the first cinematic portrayals about Hollywood, she plays a sweet innocent girl is to become a movie star and she sets to Hollywood to make her dreams come true but faces plenty of challenges. The film was notorious for the presence of many Golden Era stars like Mary Astor, Douglas Fairbanks, Cecil B. DeMille, Roscoe 'Fatty' Arbuckle among others in cameos playing themselves. Other stage credits include: "The Best People" (1924), "The Joker" (1925), "Move On" (1926), "Security" (1929) and "Nice Women" (1929). She passed away on May 26, 1990 in San Francisco, California, USA, and very little is known as for what happened to her career after her final credited play in the late 1920's or details about her personal life.
