Jack Ellison went to The San Diego Army/Navy Military Academy as a boy then came to Hollywood and appeared in several films as a boy. Then began dancing. His association with the choreographer, Hermes Pan, led him to perform in many Fred Astair/Ginger Rogers films. He also appeared in many Busby Berkley films and Ziegfield's Follies. He was married to June Turney (Ziefield dancer) until his death in Los Angeles in 1968.
