Felix Leonidovich Chernousko is a Soviet and Russian mechanical scientist, doctor of physical and mathematical sciences (1969), professor at the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology, academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences (1992). In 2004-2015 - Director of the Institute of Problems of Mechanics of the Russian Academy of Sciences. His main areas of research are control theory, mechanics, applied mathematics and robotics. The author of 10 monographs and more than 350 scientific papers. In early childhood, he played little Feliks in the 1940 lyric comedy "My Love".
