Robert Chestnut

Award winning American actor Robert Chestnut was born in Los Angeles, California to Jerilynn (Rabinowitz) and William Chestnut. His paternal grandfather was of Russian descent, and his other ancestry is Irish, English, Dutch, German, and French. He was trained at the Lee Strasberg Institute and with Stella Adler. Chestnut first gained notice for his role as Ken in the Daytime Series Days of Our Lives, but he gained his reputation as a volatile actor in CBS After School Special 'Contract for Life' The S.A.D.D. Story., Nominated Best Actor Starring in a Television Special or Mini-Series and subsequently cast as Cookie Danza in Donald P. Bellisario's 'Airwolf' Chestnut has received multiple Best Actor Nominations and Performance Awards.
