Cita Hudgens was born in Tijuana, Mexico in the late of the 1960's, her father is American and her mother is Mexican. Cita began her acting career in 1989, acting in a episode of the famous TV-Series "Papá soltero". Fame came in 1990, year when Cita acted in the successful telenovela "Alcanzar una estrella", playing the role of Cecilia "Cita" Lugo, a Mexican singer with Spanish accent. In 1991, Cita released a musical album titled "Regresión", produced by her boyfriend the rock singer Ricardo Ochoa. That same year, Cita represented her native Mexico in the music festival of Viña del mar. Her debut album was banned for conservative people and catholic priets. In 1992, a Cita's song was used in the Mexican film "Más que alcanzar una estrella". The next years Cita and Ricardo Ochoa were singing in a independent way, until 1999, when a Cita's song was used in the successful film "Sexo, pudor y lágrimas". Since early 2000's, Cita and Ricardo were singing rock music in Tijuana, Mexico and Los Angeles, USA, mainly in bars. In 2002, Cita acted in the horror film "Urban Massacre". In 2006, Cita re-released her first music album, explaining her problems with the Catholic church. In 2007, Cita recordered some new songs in Mexico City. Her most recent work was in the horror film "Discipline" released in 2011, where Cita played a singer. In recent years, she and Ricardo Ochoa keep singing in different places around Mexico and The United States, Cita Hudgens became in a cult gothic singer.
