Amanda Cole, a resident of New York, was shortlisted for the 2008 Sundance Writer's Lab for screenplay, "Baby Jim," and was a quarter finalist for the 2013 Academy Nicholl Fellowship for the screenplay, "The Primality of One." In 2016, she co-wrote "Destined to Be Ingested," with director Sofian Khan, in which she also starred. She wrote and directed three web series pilots: "Peripheral City" (2009), "Strand" (2011), and "High Falls" (2014), garnering an invitation in 2010 to join the Writers Guild of America East's Digital Caucus, where she was invited to direct one of the two 2014 WGAE/SAG Biennial Table Reads at Lincoln Center (starring Tay Diggs, Rachel Dratch, Scott Adsit, Steve Shirripa, and Parisa Fitz Henley). Amanda is a teacher at Lesley University 2020-2022.
