Tracey Costello was born and raised in the Upper West Side of Manhattan. Her love of the performing arts came at an early age, through the children's theatre programs which New York City had to offer. After graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in English-Journalism from the University of Delaware, she moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in entertainment. She began her professional acting career doing numerous national commercials. She has appeared on hit television shows like: Bones, Back to You, CSI: NY, and The West Wing. She has also worked on such notable films as the critically acclaimed Coach Carter and Ghosts of Mississippi. She was nominated best actress at The Method Fest film festival for her role as Cheryl Johnson in the award winning AFI short, Spent, which claimed the Grand Prize in BET-Johnson & Johnson's Lens On Talent Competition.
