The first time Coyote saw a car jump over a moving train in the 70s TV show "The Dukes of Hazard" he felt his destiny was to become a professional stuntman. Coyote's first stunt was in 1978 for the movie 'The Norseman' starring Lee Majors, Cornel Wilde and Deacon Jones. Coyote attended college at USF in Tampa Florida where he graduated with degrees in geology and art. After wallowing in mainstream society for a few years after college he was hired by Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida to perform as Indiana Jones in the live stunt show recreation of 'Raiders of the Lost Ark.' He performed in over 5000 shows, honing his skills in fighting, bull whip and high-falls to date Coyote has done over 11,000. He is a second-degree black belt. In 1994, veteran stunt coordinator Glenn Wilder hired him to double the bad guy in 'Passenger 57' starring Wesley Snipes, where he crashed through a 5-story window. His biggest opportunity was given to him by veteran stunt coordinator Art Malesci to stunt double Mark Frankel for the fox TV series 'Fortune Hunter.' The series was a warm up for Frankel to become the next James Bond. Coyote's stunts included hanging from helicopters, wrestling alligators and giant pythons, near misses on cars, buses and trains, and of course numerous high falls. Coyote doubled for Frankel again on the fox TV series 'the kindred, embraced.' Sadly, Mark was killed in a motorcycle crash soon after wrapping 'The Kindred.' Coyote has doubled Antonio Banderas, Jeff Fahey and Ron Estes. He has stunt coordinated over a dozen "B action films". In 2007, he opened a San Diego-based landscape construction company, Coyote Landscape Construction.
