Guy D'Alema is an Atlanta based Motion Picture/Television Still and Gallery Photographer. A member of International Cinematographers Guild Local 600 I.A.T.S.E. Guy was born in New Jersey, grew up in South Florida and moved to Atlanta, Georgia to complete college. It was here where he began his journey into the entertainment industry. After completing college he began his career in photography as the house paparazzi for the Euro Disco The Limelight in Atlanta. Guy recently published his first coffee table book "Limelight...in a sixtieth of a second" - a pictorial history of his years with the club. It was from a suggestion from the first assistant director for the film "The Slugger's Wife"(that was filming in the club) that Guy decided to become a part of the film/television industry as a unit still photographer. His first feature film was "Love Potion #9" with Sandra Bullock. From this project he began working on a film for Menahem Golan and during production Menahem asked Guy to work on two films to be shot in Moscow, Russia. He did and was later asked to return to Moscow with Menahem for the filming of a modern day adaptation of "Crime and Punishment" with John Hurt, Vanessa Redgrave and Crispin Glover in the lead roles. Guy continues his unit work for film and television projects and has a studio where he pursues his personal creative ideas and projects between assignments.
