Kristin began dancing from a young age. She later found her niche onstage after her family moved to Massachusetts and she began studying and performing with Boston Ballet and Ballet Theatre of Boston. After graduating high school she joined the California Ballet Company, in San Diego, where she also received her degree from UCSD. It was around this time that Kristin was encouraged to try acting. Thus, "No Exit", the existential classic by Jean Paul Sartre, became her first acting experience, eventually leading to a Masters of Fine Arts from the University of Southern California and beyond. Kristin has worked professionally with Simon West, Francois Velle, Spike Jonze, Risa Bramon Garcia, Mathew Walker, Luis Alfaro, Andrei Belgrader, Lisa Wolpe and Andrew J. Robinson. Kristin's first movie role was in a film called "Being John Malkovich" in which she played a ballet dancer-not a huge stretch! It was filmed at the Bing Theatre at USC, where Kristin would later attend as an MFA Acting student. Speaking of USC, Kristin was initially approached to become the last member of the inaugural MFA class of 2009 only two months prior to the start of the semester. Kristin turned down a scholarship to study at Barnard College of Columbia University in NYC-twice. Who knows why she applied the second time?
