Karen-Eileen Gordon is an American Actor, Voiceover Artist, Playwright, Speaker and Coach who stepped memorably into public awareness with her completely improvised turn in the HBO comedy, "Curb Your Enthusiasm" opposite Larry David. Many projects later, her roles and sessions continue to win her global fans. Born in Philadelphia, Karen-Eileen grew up in Hollywood, Florida, where her parents founded a residential real estate company. She holds an Economics degree from Harvard, where that student body voted her "One of the Ten Funniest People" on campus, thanks to her daily-changing outgoing answering machine messages. In the World of Television, Karen-Eileen was honored to be a two-season Series Regular on the Starz Original Drama "Magic City," often playing opposite that show's leading man, Jeffrey Dean Morgan. On Film, her female lead in the independent comedy feature "A Free Bird" won her rave reviews. She's attached as lead to three independent feature films-two horror and one political thriller, all delayed due to shifts in the world due to the global pandemic, and scheduled for production in 2022. In the Voiceover Universe, Karen-Eileen is an active Audiobook Narrator/Producer for Authors and Rights Holders in both the US and UK. Working additionally in the animation and commercial fields, she is strongly conversational in both French and Spanish, and brought multiple Latina characters to life in the Rockstar Games video game, "Grand Theft Auto V." Karen-Eileen's love of theatre has had a special focus on solo performance. She's a skilled playwright with extensive experience in one-person shows. For one of her original pieces, she found inspiration from energies she refers to as "angels" or "guides" that came through to chat during her energy work sessions with clients. The piece, called "7 From the Light," is an Official Selection of the largest solo festival in the world, United Solo, held in New York City. When not on-set, in-studio or on-stage...Karen-Eileen adores coaching; she's a long-time Senior Instructress for the Backstage award-winning "VOHeroes.com" voiceover curriculum. She finds great joy helping fellow artists to find their unique magic. In that spirit, she also keynotes and workshops on "Radical Self-Care for Creatives," sharing instantly accessible tool kits to assist storytellers of all kinds to thrive on their journeys. Singled out from among hundreds of professional presenters, she was chosen to be both a Speaker and Workshop Leader at the largest Voiceover gathering on the planet: Voiceover Atlanta. Passionate about the Wellness Arts, she is a long-time practitioner of the Japanese energy healing art of Reiki and Restorative Hatha Yoga. Karen-Eileen is happiest whenever bringing powerful stories to life.
