Composer, songwriter, pianist and author, educated in high school and in private piano study, then in the Army Special Services in Korea, where he was a pianist in the band. He wrote songs for the Los Angeles Episcopal Theatre Guild's stage production "The Preacher's Daughter". Joining ASCAP in 1957, his popular-song compositions include "I've Lost You", "You Are Mine", "He Leads Me", "Talk Me Some Sweet Talk" and "Don't Go Home".
