Julian Griffith is an Identical twin that was born March 28, 1990, to Janita (School teacher) and Reginald (Truck Driver), in Chicago, IL. He and his brother began acting, and going on auditions, at the age of three years old when several people would come up to their mother telling her how they should be in movies. By five years of age, Julian had broken into the Modeling industry as he began Print Ad modeling in numerous Children's school books. At the age of seven, Julian found a new talent and began playing baseball in the Bellwood Park District. In 2000, at the age of ten, Julian booked his first Principal role as "Jefferson Albert Tibbs" in the movie Hardball starring Keanu Reeves and Diane Lane. The film went on to gross over $40 million dollars and be #1 in the Box Office for a couple weeks. After the acclaimed success and recognition, Julian made a deal with his mother and decided to take a break from the Movie industry and focus on his education and baseball at the age of 13. Julian attended Seton Academy, a private high school in South Holland, IL, where he went on to be a member of the National Honors Society, a Four-Year Varsity baseball star, an All- Area and All-Conference player, and Top-recruited baseball player of the 2008 Graduating class. Julian went on to play college baseball at St. Joseph's College (NCAA-D2) and Calumet College of St. Joseph (NAIA) , where he posted a .324 Batting Avg., was tied for first place in Stolen bases in his Senior season, and was awarded the Most Valuable Player award. While in school Julian began making his transition back into the film industry, after a season-ending injury led to him having to have UCL reconstruction surgery on his elbow, when he booked a Principal role in the TV Pilot "The In Crowd", but after two episodes the show ceased production. In 2013, Julian was the first Black man, in Calumet College history, to graduate from the Education program with an Elementary Education degree with a Science Endorsement for Secondary Education. Shortly after college, Julian signed his first, of three, professional baseball contracts with the Fort Worth Cats of the United League where he posted a .324 Batting Average and played alongside "Batting title champion" Julio Franco in 2014. In 2015, Julian signed a contract to play for the Ellensburg Bulls of the Mt. Rainier League, prior to the league folding only weeks into the season. In 2016, Julian played in the Puerto Rico Winter league, where he was fourth in the league, posting a .488 batting avg. In 2016, Julian signed his third contract with the Eastside Diamond Hoppers of the United Shores Professional Baseball league but was later released. Julian decided to end his pursuit of Professional baseball and now owns Juiced Up Athletics, a Traveling Sports training company that travels around training the youth in Baseball, Softball, and other areas of fitness. Julian uses his experiences to do Public speaking and mentoring around the Chicagoland area and has now transitioned back into acting full-time and can be seen on various projects that include Chicago P.D. and Proven Innocent.
