Steve Grumette pioneered the field of computer/video special effects for motion pictures. "WarGames" was the first application for his special technique which eliminates the "frame flicker" that occurs when a computer monitor is filmed. In "Sneakers", Grumette shot second unit video in additional to carrying out his technical duties. He also Co-Produced and Edited "The Magic Machines" which won the Academy Award as "Best Live Action Short Subject" of 1969. Other short films produced by Steve and Elizabeth Grumette include "The Birth of Ludi", "An afternoon With Gregor Piatigorsky" and "Bright Tempest - The Art of Jesse Allen" which won eleven major international awards including a gold medal at the Atlanta Film Festival.
