Tonya L. Harris

Tonya is a trained and dynamic actress, host, writer and producer. She has a background in theatre, nurturing her first longings for the stage through school and church plays. In high school, she jumped in a little deeper, excelling in state Oratory competitions and becoming a leader on our school's drama team. Soon, she began participating in local theatre. In college at the University of Georgia, Athens (UGA), she crafted a film and TV course study by majoring in Journalism with a minor in Dramatic Arts. She belonged to the social issues Improv Troupe, "Brief Encounters," and also worked in the Drama Department's Costume and Makeup shop. After college, Tonya worked in the Atlanta market doing commercials, plays and independent films before making the move out west. In addition to her studies at UGA, she has studied at Actor's Express in Atlanta, and with the innovative and acclaimed Eric Morris in Hollywood. She currently reside in Los Angeles, but keeps her Georgia ties close and spends a lot of time in Atlanta.
