Chris Hinton teaches animation in the Film program at Concordia University, Montreal, Canada. He is a multi-award-winning animator who has worked extensively for the National Film Board (where he has animated, written, directed and produced over a dozen films) as well as for the CBC and several commercial animation studios. He received his first Oscar nomination in 1991 for upbeat and humoristic Blackfly (1991) and a second one in 2004 for a very personal and over-the-top short entitled Nibbles (2003).
