David Fairman is an established and award-winning art and advertising photographer and film director. David has worked for many of the worlds leading advertisers and brands (including BT, British Airways, Emirates, Coca-Cola and Sony). David's work has been described as Worthy of Fellini by US film critic Jack Farance. In the early 1990s, David joined Picture Palace Productions in London as a commercials director. In 2000 he directed and produced his first feature "Cold Fish", a dark thriller. "Lighthouse Hill" starring Jason Flemyng (Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels) followed. "Messages" starring Jeff Fahey (Lawnmower Man and Grindhouse) was produced and directed in 2005. "Carmen's Kiss" co-written, directed and produced by David Fairman is being distributed by Entertainment 7 in the USA. He executive produced "An Organization of Dreams" which premiered at the London Film Festival in 2009. A future production, "Sands of Time...The Lost Cup" an action-adventure movie which David has co-written and will direct is budgeted at $ 25 Million is being co-produced by Louis G Friedman, co-producer of X Men: Wolverine. He is now in development of "A Shadowing of Angels" inspired by the true story of a commando rescue from ISIS in Iraq. Another film he plans to produce and direct is "Only Anarchists Are Pretty" which is the story of Malcolm Mc Claren and the Sex Pistols. David has had his Art photography exhibited at major galleries around the world. He recently had published two photography art books of his work originally exhibited at The Hamilton's Gallery London entitled "Gauguin Still Lives on Tahiti" and "Venice Masquerade" The Gauguin exhibition then travelled to the "Gauguin Museum on Tahiti where David's work was hung beside original Gauguin Paintings. In 2018 his picture "Camel Riders" was chosen as one of the Best Photographs in the past 50 years by The Association of Photographers in an exhibition of the same name. His Art prints which are very much in demand are now available through Avenue 42 photography Gallery in London.
