Michel was born in San Diego, CA to a Parisian Mother (Hospital Administrator) and a Father from Brooklyn (Air Force/Entrepreneur) . He spent his formative years in France and S.E. Asia; traveling around the world. He graduated UC San Diego with a BA in Communications, but directed music videos and was a campus DJ when not studying Marketing. He left the Executive MBA program his last quarter at UC Irvine when GE Capital closed their division forcing a move to Los Angeles. Shortly after, he had his SAG card and found his passion. When he decided to try for Musicals he signed up for an Opera Class at Santa Monica College. He found out he was a tenor and he also found his Soul Mate! Ulrika and Michel were married in a small wooden church in Sweden and he left L.A. for quite awhile. Upon returning to the US he started a catering company and focused on his artistry and community outreach there. But a few years ago, a schoolmate's Mom asked if she could represent his daughter and when she balked, the agent signed the whole family! Michel found himself back doing what he needed to do to be happy; shooting eight commercials, six short films and one feature film in just over three years. His best life memories thus far are visiting Angor Wat, touching the toe of 'The Reclining Buddha', diving Shark Alley in the Bahamas, giving offerings at a burial site inside a lava tube in Kona, a solo jump skydive, driving a NASCAR on the track, catching Marlin off Baja, rock climbing 'El Bufadora', skiing Chateau D'oex, being at LA LIVE to sit in the theater with Industry people to watch 'The Old Man's Hands' as an opening night selection, and best of all, being present for his daughter, Sienna, at her birth. Michel is a STAR CHEF winner as an Exec. Chef for his community outreach - teaching cooking to institutionalized foster care teenage girls His company donated catering to fund drilling for new wells for the 'Wells Bring Hope' water project in Niger He and his wife of 21 years, won the Jaguar Owner's Western States Car Rally (He as Driver/Wife as Navigator- women are smarter!) He is a Classic Car geek and has a 1929 JAMES Motorcycle. He wrenches his own vehicles. Presently, Michel is researching how to transform a major plastic trash crisis to a benefit for Homeless Housing.
