Emmy-, Peabody-, and two-time DuPont Award-winning producer, director, and writer Leslie D. Farrell has been a filmmaker for over fifteen years. Recently, she finished production on the first-ever dramatic series for teenagers with African American lead actors. The series, titled Miracle's Boys (2005), based on the Coretta Scott King Award-winning book, was produced in conjunction with On-Screen Entertainment. Leslie is best known for films she created for HBO, Sports on the Silver Screen (1997) and The Journey of the African-American Athlete (1996), which are both highly successful award-winning films. Ms. Farrell's work has also been seen on MTV, NBC, Bravo, The History Channel, BET, and other national outlets in the United States.
