Andrea Fry was born in Jerseyville, Illinois, daughter of yacht designer, Ed Fry, of FrycoMar. She moved to NYC to study acting and was fortunate to study with such greats as, Viveka Lindfors, Sandy Dennis, and Susan Batson. In 1998 she married Michael R. Zomber, writer-producer and theatrical film distributor, & they established Renascent Films, LLC. In 1999 Renascent Films distributed La Cucaracha and in 2004 produced the critically acclaimed educational documentary Soul of the Samurai. In 2005 Andrea produced the one woman theatrical show, Deep Sea Diving starring Diane Luby Lane which premiered in Los Angeles to rave reviews. In 2007 she worked with poet Jimmy Santiago Baca on several film projects depicting his work in prisons and with underprivileged youth. In 2009 she moved to Annapolis, MD and is the producer of a documentary film following the Los Angeles non-profit teen poetry group known as the Get Lit Players, working title Literary Riot.
