Barry Gaines

Being born and raised in Queens, New York, I began filmmaking at the age of 10 and have not stopped since. I've worked for Warner Bros. and Virgin Records as a publicist in New York for a several years but kept filming small projects on the side. Recently, I moved to Sarasota, Florida and was impressed with all the talent the city had to offer. With Ringling college being the epicenter of entertainment for many in Florida, I expected to see many ambitious Sci-Fi or Action projects in the works...but I was surprised to find there wasn't much happening for those genres in the area. So I decided now was the time to employ my many talents in order to create an ambitious mythology in a collaborative effort that utilizes the great talents and resources that Sarasota provides while spreading awareness across the country that Sarasota can produce a great homegrown Sci-Fi Action series.
