Nina-Marie Gardner is a Paris-based American novelist, playwright and screenwriter. A graduate of Yale University, her debut novel Sherry & Narcotics was published by Future Fiction London (2011), and the stage adaptation was a finalist for the Verity Bargate Award (2014) and subsequently staged as part of the Arcola Theatre's inaugural PlayWrought Festival. She holds a PhD in Drama and Theatre from Royal Holloway, University of London where she also served as a Visiting Lecturer from 2013-2017. Her short stories, essays and reviews have been published in 3AM Magazine, The Fix, The Frisky, Flavorpill and the anthologies Bedford Square and 3AM London, New York, Paris. She has served on the Reader's Panel for the Royal National Theatre in London, the international literary award The First Pages Prize, the Verity Bargate Playwriting Award, and the Colchester Theatre Mercury/ Weinberger Playwriting Award.
