In indie circles, Rose Ganguzza is known as "Th e Godmother of Young Filmmakers". In fact, many of her past films have been with first time filmmakers: Afterschool (Antonio Campos), Kill Your Darlings (John Krokidas), Margin Call (JC Chandor), The Guitar (Amy Redford) and now Matthew Huston's first feature film, Hunting and Gathering (in pre-production). Besides feature films she has done a number of documentaries (including Blue Gold, Trashed, New York at the Movies) and she is in pre production on the two part television biopic Heidy, starring Diane Kruger, and with other TV series she has created, such as True Romance and Everthere. Ms. Ganguzza has extensive experience in the global market and began doing co-productions many years ago and has worked throughout Europe, South America and Asia, structuring film and television deals. She also plans marketing and promotional strategies at the beginning of the creative and development process and has been responsible for the alignment of many global brands with entertainment properties.
