Liron Gerti, who grew up in Israel, always had a passion for performing. At the age of five, Liron won first place in the "International Child Star" contest for her outstanding miming performance. Soon afterwords she started modeling, appeared in several campaigns and television commercials, most notably as the face of Honigman, Solog, Coca Cola and Mary Helene. She continued performing with youth theater groups, showcasing her talent in acting, dancing and singing. Her big break came at the age of thirteen when she was discovered during a country-wide talent search for the next Israeli television star. Liron was cast on the prime-time TV series "Ramat Aviv Gimel" (Mediterranean Affair), which was rated the number one show in Israel. She played the part of Yasmin for three years, quickly becoming a household name. Working everyday on set with Israel's best and most well-renowned actors gave Liron extensive experience and a strong work ethic. While filming the show she even completed her scholastic studies, graduating from high school with honors. In preparation for her arrival to Hollywood, Liron studied closely with an English-speaking acting coach as well as voice and diction coaches. Entering Los Angeles as an established actress, Liron landed the lead role in the movie "Consciousness", a Japanese production directed by Masaya Uenoyama soon to be released in the United States. She played Marilyn Monroe in a French production of the "Norma Jean Project", dubbing her the Israeli Marilyn. She was the lead actress in the remake of Tracy Chapman's "Fast Car" music video, sang by London's pop star Kristian Leontiou, making her well known to MTV's audience. She also appeared in the short "Banished" which received an official selection at the New York Apple festival. In her latest short "The Inside Job", an official selection at the New York Independent International Film & Video Festival, Liron played a Russian assassin opposite Russian star Andrei Sviridov. Liron has mastered her American and European accents by working closely with eminent vocal coach Robert Easton. She is passionate about film making, a hard worker, and truly devoted to her craft. Those who know her both socially and professionally agree that she exudes positivity. One of her dreams is to make social films that will reach millions of people all over the world. Using this medium she hopes her roles and stories will move people, change perspectives, and open up new worlds. Filmmaking can change the world.
