Ellida Geira

American born, Jewish director and choreographer. Geira studied dance at Julliard school Under legendary teacher Martha Graham. She Immigrated to Israel in 1956 and in 1969 wrote and directed "Before Tomorrow", the first Israeli film directed by a woman. She later taught Theater actors dance and movement. Geira married Set designer Tzvi Geira and the couple had three children.
