Chip Giannettino grew up in Vienna, Virginia and originally started with Indy film maker Toby Halicki as an intern from Virginia Tech's film department. Halicki, known to be extremely demanding, was impressed with Giannettino's ability to handle the pressure on the set and plugged him in virtually everywhere. On "The Junkman", and the remake of "Gone In Sixty Seconds" (eventually called "Deadline Auto Theft), you'll notice Giannettino as stunt driver, still photographer, actor, and production assistant. Behind the scenes Giannettino worked through the Halicki Production Company all the way to General Manager of the entire studio operation and secured major international film sales through major studios like 20th Century Fox, and Viacom. Giannettino and Halicki's stunt work also appeared in the popular 1980s TV Show "The Fall Guy," starring Lee Majors. Giannettino married the former Val Reynolds (writer's assistant on "Family Ties") and the two now have four children and reside in Burlington, Iowa.
