Ernest Golm

Ernest (born Ernst) Golm was a Berlin dentist in the 1920s and 30s who catered to some of the film community there,as a result he was able to get invitations for other family members to some of the screenings of new German movies. When he and his wife Lisa (also an actor)came to Southern California as refugees from the Nazis in the late 1930s, he was able to continue his practice from Beverly Hills. At one point famous theater director Max Reinhardt was one of his patients. Ernest and Lisa (who made many more appearances as that was her full time career) were in two films together, Mission To Moscow and The Hitler Gang. Ernest is buried at the Mount Tamalpais Cemetery in San Rafael.
