Valerie Gobos

Valerie has always been in the arts and entertainment. Born and raised in Chicago, she went full circle studying the fine arts of drawing, painting, sculpture, design and photography, to the performing arts as an actress, singer, dancer, model, which than evolved into her love of film making. She has worked on films, on camera and off, with such talents as Andrew Davis, Jane Fonda, Kate Capshaw and Chuck Norris. She uses her endless energy, open mind, imagination and creativity to spot new talent and projects, while using her sales ability to promote, and her contacts and experience to produce. Among so many great accomplishments, she was Marketing Director for Universal Studios, and Oprah Winfrey's Harpo Studios. In advertising, Valerie works with a large variety of commercial, feature film and television directors, production & post production companies, cinematographers, photographers, animators, visual effects artists, editors and musicians around the world, for television commercials, branded films, and social media. She was one of the Producers on the Russian box office hit Brat II, starring the late Sergei Bodrov Jr. And, she Co-Produced the feature film Brides, where she introduced the project to Martin Scorsese to executive produce the film, directed by Pantelis Voulgaris. Valerie has acquired the rights to many books, screenplays and life stories such as the late Marilyn Chamber's life story, ' Who Killed the Candy Lady' the disappearance of the Candy Heiress Helen Brach written by James Ylisela Jr. , ' Hot Blood ' by Ken Englade, " Murder Gone Cold " by Tamara Shaffer, ' Born to Raise Hell' the story of Richard Speck written by Jack Altman & Marvin Ziporyn, April Kirkwood's biography about Frankie Valli, ' Big Girls Do Cry ' , Clark Greene's screenplay ' Patch ' , and many others that she would love to see get made for the big and small screens. While heading up Gobos Film & Entertainment, Valerie is an innovator in advertising, television, and the feature film industries worldwide. Valerie lives in Los Angeles.
