Krzewinski studied philosophy at the Jagiellonski University in Kraków. In 1905, he went to Brazil as a circus performer and teacher. Back in Warsaw, he joined other theater actors in creating a cinematography company; they completed several short films as early as 1911. He was the author of librettos for operettas, popular songs, screenplays and several novels. He fought in both World Wars and died in Warsaw in March 1943, under the German occupation.
