Yvonne de La Paix

Yvonne often speaks of her "Illustrious Under Five Career," which has encompassed many small roles in many big TV shows and Features since 1980. Beginning as a teen, it has included more than one appearance in the landmark "Married With Children" and a recurrent role on the short-lived variety program entitled "The Martin Short Show." She will be the first to tell you that she has "a body built for comedy," and she is willing to do just about anything to deliver the laugh and has been a game and delirious partner in several largely improv scenes with such heavy hitters (not literally! - well, OK, in one case) as Billy Crystal, Leslie Nielsen, the aforementioned Martin Short (who should teach all men how to kiss), Oliver Platt and Warren Beatty, that lie somewhere in the graveyard of cut scenes. A life-long Southern Californian, Yvonne has multiple college and university degrees (Biology, Psychology, Humanities, Anthropology) and is continuing work toward two graduate degrees at UCLA; she is the author of six non-fiction books, and contributed to an anthology of modern poetry with several pieces on love and eroticism. She enjoyed her stage experiences in college, which ranged from Children's Theater in the Round to Aristophenes' ancient Greek comedy "Lysistrata" performed in an open-air Greek-style amphitheater, but much prefers Film and TV work.
