A classic film fanatic, Lattimer grew up on Cape Cod, Massachusetts with one thing always in the back of his mind, Hollywood. As a child, Stephen's mother Rita often shared her passion for the classics with her son which included art, music, and of course, movies. On a steady diet of the masters such as Ford, Hitchcock, Hawks and Huston, he learned early to appreciate great filmmaking. Stephen's father Richard (an airline pilot) introduced his young son to his own heroes, Wayne, Eastwood, Bogart, Stewart, and Tracy to name just a few. The overall result: A true passion for the silver screen. An accomplished artist, Lattimer attended college at the University of Connecticut to earn a fine arts degree. His education now complete, it was time to set his sights on Hollywood to pursue a film career. After working in production, swing gang, art department, props, special effects, art direction, and production design, Lattimer finally came around to his true dream, acting. Stephen pays the bills as a carpenter and a portrait artist and between auditions, can usually be found somewhere in the Los Angeles area building one thing or another.
