Pioneer actress Taiwanese beauty Wen Ling was well known to her public for her big eyes where she contracted with Central Motion Pictures Corporation in the late 50s debuting as a career supporting actress notably with Peter Pan Lei with his own directing debut 'On Mount Hu-Huan'. Wen later shared both screen credits with director Pan again beginning with the award-winning romance drama 'Lover's Rock' co-starring with young Cheng Pei Pei and later 'Downhill They Ride' alongside senior colleague Pat Ting Hung and 'Poison Rose' with veteran Julie Yeh Feng for Shaw Brothers by the mid 1960s. Predictably romantic nuptials ensued during their collaborations where Wen's career ended retiring from show business shortly thereafter back in Taipei while Pan telecommuted their long distance marriage while he continued on with his rising stature as an established director in Hong Kong and later closer to home together back in Taipei by the mid-1970s.
