Considered by many as one of the greatest actresses in Latin America, Karyme Lozano has starred in hugely successful soap operas (Telenovelas) and series that have aired worldwide. She is the only star to be simultaneously featured in a lead role in two prime- time soaps, El Manantial and Niña Amada Mía, a unique event in Univision history. Karyme co-starred in the epic movie For Greater Glory alongside Andy Garcia. On top of her many awards, her lead role and moving performance in the film Desnudos earned her a nomination for a coveted Ariel Award, Mexico's equivalent to the Oscars. Her most recent movie Ardent Heart premiered in theaters just before the onset of Covid, ranking in the top 15 in Spain as well as top 10 in Poland and Colombia while competing against big box office Hollywood films. Karyme has also been nurturing her passion for producing and writing. She first produced and starred in Pepe and Santo vs America (2009)streaming in Amazon Prime and most recently produced and starred in The legend of the Diamond (La Leyenda del Diamante) available now for streaming on Netflix. She proves herself to be equally talented as a writer and director. Her short film The True Meaning of Love was accepted into multiple film festivals, including LA Shorts Fest, CLIFF and GLCFF. Committed to diversity, Karyme is currently developing various projects to empower Latina Women and looks forward to the collaboration and creative impact she will have in the American market.
