Philip Hynd was born in Birmingham and worked in retail for two years before attending drama college to study acting from 1975 to 1977. A ten year acting career followed with parts in Spyship and Bergerac along the way. Mr Hynds then switched careers to become a business facilitator and then founded his own business as a change management consultancy. He is married to Annie.
