Rich Hull's film and television projects have generated hundreds of millions of dollars and range from young-adult movies, such as She's All That (Disney/Miramax), one of the most successful teen movies in history, and Get Over it (Disney/Miramax) with Kirsten Dunst and Martin Short...to studio sequels, such as those for Daddy Day Care (Sony) and American Psycho (Lionsgate)...to award-winning movies with a message, such as his collaboration with Matthew McConaughey, The Story of Darrell Royal (Fox Sports); his collaboration with Halle Berry, For Love of Liberty: The Story of America's Black Patriots (PBS) (for which he and Berry won the NAACP Image Award); and The Public (Universal) with Alec Baldwin, Emilio Estevez and Taylor Schilling. Prior to its acquisition by Discovery Communications-backed VIX, Hull was the Founder and CEO of Pongalo, the largest free, global Latino streaming service in the world. Variety named Pongalo's acquisition as one of the most significant media deals of the year by awarding Hull with its 2019 Dealmaker of the Year honors. Hull is a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences, the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, and the Producers Guild of America.
