Born in New York City, Isaacs has been a motion picture and television industry professional since 1979, writing, producing and directing for Columbia Pictures, Rastar Films, Touchstone Pictures, Walt Disney, Paramount Pictures, NBC, The Kushner-Locke Company, Star Cinema Productions, Le Monde Entertainment, F.W.E., SyFy Pictures, MM Productions, and Amblin Entertainment. In 2013 Isaacs conceived and produced the multi-award-winning documentary "Tough Ain't Enough: Conversations With Albert S. Ruddy", which highlighted the life and career of two-time Oscar-winning producer Albert S. Ruddy. As a result of the film's success, Isaacs initiated The Film History Preservation Project, and The Producers Showcase, a multi-part documentary series showcasing award-winning producers sharing intimate oral histories of their trials, tribulations, heartbreak, and joy in bringing some of the industry's most iconic and memorable motion pictures to the screen. In 2016 he produced and directed a documentary about Academy Award-winning producer and former studio head, Alan Ladd, Jr.
