Tim James is a member of the New South Wales Parliament for Willoughby. He was formerly the Executive General Manager of Australian public policy think tank, the Menzies Research Centre. He joined the Liberal Party of Australia at age 17 in 1993 and has been involved in government and politics for 25 years. He worked in the John Howard Government for six years, including time in the Prime Minister's Office, as well as the electorate office of Joe Hockey, and was Chief of Staff to Minister Anthony Roberts in the NSW Government. He holds degrees in Business and Law and an MBA, and has worked for KPMG, Allens Arthur Robinson, Medicines Australia, Life Education NSW, and the Australian Nationhood Foundation, among other private organisations.
