1970s - John works inside and outside of MGM, Paramount, and Warner Bros lots, delivering and preparing music for studio orchestra sessions. 1980s - As a cameraman, John films motion graphics logos and commercials, cartoons, and special visual effects for a variety of firms, including Colossal Pictures, Intercom, Boyington Film, Take One, Industrial Light and Magic, and Calico, where he is technical director for eight years. John works on a million dollar camera system at ILM, and shoots elements for Star Trek 6 and matte paintings for Spielberg's "Hook" in Vistavision and Cinemascope. Other notable credits: Ed Wood, Terminator 2. 1990s - On a parallel career track, John is supervising sound editor for dozens of independent films in his own studio, Command Post, and as composer, scores several independent features and a variety of shorts. He does specialty post sound work and ADR for firms such as Bang Zoom Entertainment, Tapestry Films, and the Cosmic Forces, and video editing for Media International. 2000's - John's post sound work continues as he expands into game sound design, working as the primary sound design contractor for Diamond Game Enterprises. 2010's - In addition to his other audio activities, John expands into location sound recording and voiceover work, producing his own voice work for a variety of firms from New York to Miami to Los Angeles.
