Kathy Jones

From the age of four Kathy sang in social clubs around Cheshire and Stoke on Trent, she was semi professional from the age of eight, touring clubs and theaters around the North of England and Wales. She was Professionally trained in Opera since she was sixteen. At thirteen years old she began her TV career at Granada TV in Manchester, when at nineteen she recorded her favorite children's TV series Handful of Songs, then briefly left the singing to appear in Coronation Street acting the part of Tricia Hopkins for just over two years. She returned to her first love of singing in several children's TV shows nationwide for Granada TV, Kathys Quiz and Songbook. After numerous stage and TV appearances, including The Good Old Days for the BBC, All Creatures Great and Small, she decided to call time on her professional career as her hearing was deteriorating rapidly and is now completely deaf.
