Robert Jones

"Robert Jones is an independent film producer, writer and director. Carry It On, a feature length documentary starring the folk singer, Joan Baez, was released in theaters worldwide. Mission Hill, also released theatrically, has won numerous prizes including Best Feature Film at the Athens International Film Festival, Best First Feature Film at the Houston International Film Festival and Honorable Mention at the Sundance Film Festival. He has also won numerous awards for his documentary films, which include The War Comes Home (about returning Vietnam veterans) and No Expectations, which focuses on drug abuse. His career includes teaching production at Boston University, Loyola Marymount University, Columbia College, California State University, and now Central Florida. Recent work includes an episodic television series on life in a film school, entitled Dodge University, Fetus Fetish (a black comedy) and American Soldier. Mr. Jones has an MFA from UCLA in producing.
