Charles-Henry Joseph is a Canadian actor born February 12, 1971 in Montreal, Quebec Canada, to Haitian parents Max-Eden Joseph a former Mathematics teacher and Beatrice Longchamp a nurse. Joseph attended Concordia University in Montreal where he graduated with a certificate in General Arts and Sciences and a bachelor's degree in Linguistics, specializing in Spanish. Joseph's love of acting came while being part of his high school improvisation team for three years. He then tested his skill on stage in 1991 "In search of Montreal's funniest stand up" contest at the Comedy nest club in Montreal. His first television appearance was on the Canadian television kid show "Are you afraid of the dark?" alongside "Party of Five" main actress Neve Campbell. Over the years, he has appeared on various television shows, movies and plays such as Shadowhunters (2016), The Strain (2016), Durham County (2015), D'une Rive à l'autre (2013), Whitewash: Clarence Bradley Story (2002) featuring Eamonn Walker and Courtney B. Vance, Single's Court (2001), Naga Mandala (1999), Cover me (1999), Free of Eden starring Sidney Poitier (1998). With a strong ability to imitate various accents, he was cast in the role of a Somali soldier on the CBC documentary "God has abandoned me" (2005). As well as a loveable pet rock named Monzo (2016) for a final College project using stop motion.
