Petko Nikolov Karlukovsky is Bulgarian actor . He was born on August 6, 1921 in Slatina, Bulgaria . He initially worked at various theaters in Pleven (1943-1945) and Pernik (1939-1941), as well in the troupes of the Front Theater and the Bulgarian Army's Theater. In 1947, he moved to the National Theatre, where he remained until his death. Among his roles are Bay Ganyo in "Bay Ganyo" by Aleko Konstantinov, Borimechkata in "Under the Yoke" by Ivan Vazov, Edryu in "Boriana" by Yordan Yovkov and others. In 1967 he was awarded with the title "Honored Artist". He was awarded with the Order "St. St. Cyril and Metodiy". He died on July 29, 1974 in Sofia, Bulgaria.
