Jana Karaivanova

Jana Ivanova Karaivanova is a Bulgarian actress and producer . She was born in Sofia on October 24, 1961. Jana Karaivanova graduated National Academy for Theatre" and Film Art, Sofia, Bulgaria in 1984 with a degree in acting in the class of Professor Grisha Ostorvsky. In the 1980th and 1990th she is an actress of the troupe of the National Theatre "Ivan Vazov" , with 17 feature films in his biography. Since 1994, she lives in New York and Sofia. She is a founder of the Foundation for Bulgarian-American cultural exchange. In 2000, she creates Festival of Bulgarian Cinema in New York.
