Anne Kettle

Anne Kettle is the daughter of actress Olga Gwynne and music promoter Lesley Kettle. She started early in the theatre business, though worked mostly on the stage in musical theatre, like her mother, she was a part of 'A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum' when it went to South Africa in the 60s. She married Thane Bettany in 1968 and left acting to start a family. She had three children, a daughter and two sons, the eldest boy being Paul Bettany. She spent most of the 70s teaching at Corona Stage Academy, then at the beginning of the beginning of the 80s returned to the West End as Sister Theresa in 'The Sound of Music' with Petula Clarke. After that she retired from the professional theatre.
