'Edwin EdVanzd began acting on stage at the early age of 9. After six years of theater performances, he leaped from the stage to the screen when he debuted as "Young Willie Mays" in the HBO movie Soul of the Game (1996), which led to being cast in other films such as the star studded line-up of the Paramount Pictures release of We Were Soldiers (2002) and Park Day (1998). He has since crossed over into television appearing on such shows as ER, The District, Boston Public, The Parkers, One On One, and the made for TV movie What About Your Friends: Weekend Getaway (2002). Never one to forget his roots, Edwin returned to the stage in the critically acclaimed theatre productions Direct From Death Row: The Scottsboro Boys, & August Wilson's Joe Turner's Come And Gone where he garnered rave reviews and was awarded the prestigious NAACP Award, among other numerous awards, for his performances. EDVANZD (as he is known musically), has been heralded as a high-octane MC with a sharp lyrical prowess by such legendary lyricists as Busta Rhymes. Consistently honing his craft of wordplay has led to his own successful social media series #FireFlowFridays. Recently EDVANZD was crowned a top 5 Blaze The Beat artist and is poised to step into the spotlight as a future leader of hip-hop. Venturing behind the glare of Hollywood's spotlight, Edwin expanded his brand into the production realm of the business by developing Film, TV, Theatre and Music projects through his company EdVanzd Media. One of his current projects, the award winning documentary feature Target: St. Louis Vol. 1 (2021) debuted at the reputable Urbanworld Film Festival. Morrow, the self-proclaimed Renaissance Man is also a published poet, graphic designer and 'ghost writer' for a few notable artists.
