Horst Weinert

Horst Weinert (aka. Mike Morris) was a German actor who was active in Italian films and television during the 1970s and 1980s. Under the name "Mike Morris", he spent the majority of his career playing various German characters, including several Nazi roles, also appearing in several uncredited roles. Not much biographical information is known about Weinert apart from an article in Radiocorriere TV magazine (1979), which confirmed that was a German actor and that he had worked with Fellini. It was also reported by the team at the Cinema Italiano Database that the actor known as "Mike Morris"'s real name was in fact Horst Detlev Weinert, having been credited under different variations of this name in some films.
