He was born in 1938 and graduated in 1962 (Physics; Universities of Milan and Rome). In 1966/67 he was assistant director to Lucio Fulci; in 1968/69 assistant director to Edward G, Muller and Anthony Ascott; in 1970, assistant director to Richard Lester and Mike Kidd. He has worked for Italian public radio network (RAI) from 1976 to 1988. He has worked in Hollywood, California from 1983 till 1987. Mr. Piccioni moved to Hollywood, California where he wrote three features. Meanwhile he produced and directed Death as a Fine Art, a two hours documentary; and in 1984 he worked for Harmony Gold, Inc. of West Hollywood (Sales and Acquisitions Dept.) 1987/1990: Three more scripts: Rendez Vous in Juhu; Adrift; A Slow Boat To China. In the meanwhile he ran a Post-Production & Dubbing Company, based in Los Angeles (adaptations & dubbing of Italian, French and Spanish films into English). In 1988 he worked for Euramco, Inc. of Culver City (Sales and acquisitions Dept.) In 1991 he wrote three screenplays for IMS - International Movie Service of Ovidio G. Assonitis: Little Ninja Man (American Ninja #5); The White Elephant (Part I and Part II); Little Ninja Man is back (American Ninja #6). In 1992, two more screenplays for I.M.S: Abuse; and The Day of Piranhas (Piranha 3). In 1993 he wrote Caccia Alta (Prime Target) - A screenplay for Century International (Italy). In 1994 - 1996 he wrote two screenplays for Trihoof Entertainment Group: The Count and Dagon.
