Tara Nicole Hughes

Tara Nicole Hughes is a professional Dancer, Choreographer and Movement Coach for film, television and stage. Hughes has worked on every major musical film over the last decade including Chicago, Rent, The Terminal, Nine, Rock of Ages, Burlesque, Mary Poppins Returns, starring Emily Blunt and Lin-Manuel Miranda, and the upcoming live-action film The Little Mermaid. As warm, patient and inspiring as she is talented, Hughes has a particular gift for creating a safe and energizing work environment for actors who may be intimidated by movement. As a result she's worked with some of the most brilliant of our time including Daniel Day Lewis, Nicole Kidman, Tom Hanks, Marion Cotillard, Al Pacino, Penelope Cruz and Tobey Maguire, as well as with major music stars including Pharrell Williams, Taylor Swift and Jennifer Hudson. Other choreographic credits include, for television, Good Girls Revolt, Transparent, The Guest Book, House of Lies, The Middle, Trophy Wife, Raising Hope and My Name is Earl. Feature films include Danny Collins starring Al Pacino (Dir. Dan Fogelman), Burlesque (Dir. Steven Antin), The Terminal (Dir. Steven Spielberg) and The Next Best Thing (Dir. John Schlesinger). Her work has appeared on Dancing with the Stars, So You Think You Can Dance and The American Music Awards.
