Lisa Deily is a Los Angeles based filmmaker. In addition to acting, she has partnered up as a producer, director and writer while working with Detroit Street Films founder actor Gareth Williams. Deily and Williams collaborated in May of 2018 on the short film Dark Room. There are several more short film projects on the horizon with Detroit Street Films and also Deily is slated to co-write and direct a feature with William's production company based on Arthur Schnitzler's play La Ronde (the original German name is Reigen) the controversial play with provocative sexual themes written in 1897. Aside from filmmaking, Deily is also a musician and is the electric bass player in Lemonheads Co-founder Ben Deily's pop/punk rock band Varsity Drag. Varsity Drag plays in Los Angeles, nationally and overseas in Europe when on tour. Varsity Drag has shared the stage at numerous rock venues over the years - most notably with The Lemonheads at the Bowery Ballroom in New York, indie bands Lemuria and also with Rough Francis.
